S Korea’s S-Oil nominates $45/tonne hike for May PX ACP

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea’s S-Oil has nominated a $45/tonne (€34/tonne) increase for its May paraxylene (PX) Asian Contract Price from April, a company source said on Monday.

“We nominated the May PX ACP at $1,630/tonne CFR (cost and freight) Asia,” the source said.

The April ACP was settled at $1,585/tonne CFR Asia.

JX Nippon Oil & Energy, Idemitsu Kosan and ExxonMobil had earlier proposed their May PX contract prices at $1,620/tonne CFR Asia, $1,650/tonne CFR Asia and $1,640/tonne CFR Asia, respectively.
