SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Shanghai Golden Phillips Petrochemical shut its 135,000 tonne/year high density polyethylene (HDPE) plant located at Jinshan in Shanghai on 23 April for scheduled maintenance, a company source said on Monday.

The plant will restart on 28 April, said the source.

Golden Phillips’ turnaround will not have an affect on China's domestic HDPE market as the plant’s capacity is small, according to local distributors.
