SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Zibo Dexin Lianbang has started up a polyether polyol plant, with a nameplate capacity of 100,000 tonnes/year, in Shandong province on 25 April, a company source said on Wednesday.
The plant can produce 6,000 tonnes/month of normal polyether polyols and 3,000-4,000 tonnes/month of elastomer polyols, the source added.
With the commissioning of this new unit, the company’s total polyether polyols capacity will reach 330,000 tonnes/year.
Dexin Lianbang has a 230,000 tonne/year plant at the same site which is operating at around 80% of capacity, the source said.
