HOUSTON (ICIS)--Honeywell has won another contract to provide its propane dehydrogenation (PDH) technology to produce on-purpose propylene at a project in ?xml:namespace>
Honeywell said the project by Zhangjiagang Yangzi River Petrochemical in
Financial details were not disclosed.
Earlier this week, Honeywell said it had won a PDH technology deal for a project at
Zhangjiagang’s project is the ninth propylene project Honeywell has announced since the beginning of 2011.
Since the technology was commercialised in 1990, Honeywell's UOP petrochemicals business has commissioned nine C3 Oleflex units for on-purpose propylene production, with a 10th unit scheduled to start up this year in
