SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Shandong Dongda Chemical on Friday shut its 80,000 tonne/year propylene oxide (PO) unit and a polyether polyols plant in Shandong province for a maintenance turnaround, according to a company source.

Both plants will be restarted on 2 May this year, the source said.

Output from the PO unit is mainly used as feedstock for the 220,000 tonne/year polyether polyols unit at the same site, the source added.
