China’s BASF-YPC brings forward Nanjing cracker restart to 30 Apr

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s BASF-YPC (BYC) has brought forward the restart of its 740,000 tonne/year cracker in Nanjing to 30 April following a planned turnaround, a company source said on Friday.

The cracker was shut on 16 April for maintenance and was initially scheduled to be restarted on 5 May, the source said.

BYC is a joint venture between Germany’s chemicals major BASF and China's Yangzi Petrochemical.
