China’s Changle Liheng to start up a nylon-6 chip line in May

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Changle Liheng Polyamide Technology plans to start up its new 50,000 tonne/year nylon-6 (or polyamide 6) chip line at Fujian province in May, a company source said on Friday.

The 50,000 tonne/year line in Changle city is designed to produce high-speed spinning full-dull nylon-6 chips, but it will temporarily produce bright chips upon start-up, the source said.

Changle Liheng’s existing 80,000 tonne/year and 50,000 tonne/year plants that produce high-speed spinning nylon-6 chips are currently running at 90% of capacity, the source said.
