NewsFlashBP declares force majeure on Hull, UK acetic acid

LONDON (ICIS)--BP has declared force majeure on acetic acid supplies from its Hull plant in the UK, a company spokesman said on Friday.

The company placed its customers on 50% allocation from midnight on 26-27 April, the source said. The BP acetic acid plant has a nameplate capacity of 532,000 tonnes/year, according to ICIS data.
