HOUSTON (ICIS)--Chevron Phillips Chemical picked its Sweeny facility in Old Ocean, Texas, as the site for its planned two polyethylene (PE) facilities, the US-based producer said on Monday.
The two new plants would each have an annual capacity of 500,000 tonnes/year.
The company also announced it executed a front-end engineering and design (FEED) agreement with Jacobs Engineering Group to design the PE plants.
