HOUSTON (ICIS)--Dow Chemical Company lifted its force majeure on all methyl di-p-phenylene isocyanate (MDI) products manufactured at Freeport and La Porte, Texas, effective 1 May, the company said on Wednesday.
Dow announced the force majeure on 23 March, after Dow’s Freeport MDI operations experienced an unforeseen mechanical failure of a piece of equipment essential for production, on 19 March.
