MOVES: Brazil’s Ultrapar names new CEO for 2013

HOUSTON (ICIS)--Thilo Mannhardt is set to become chief executive of Brazil-based Ultrapar in 2013, the specialty chemicals producer and fuel retailer said on Wednesday.

Mannhardt would take the post on 1 January 2013, succeeding current CEO Pedro Wongtschowski, the company said.

Recently a senior partner of McKinsey, a global management consulting firm, Mannhardt has been a member of Ultrapar’s board of directors since April 2011.

Wongtschowski is expected to replace Mannhardt on the board of directors, Ultrapar said.
