China’s Sichuan Tianyu Oleochemical runs fatty acid plant at 100%

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Sichuan Tianyu Oleochemical is currently running its 60,000 tonne/year fatty acid plant in Sichuan province at full capacity after restarting the unit on 1 May, a company source said on Thursday.

The plant at at Luzhou city was shut for a month because of high costs of feedstock palm stearin, the source said.

Sichuan Tianyun Oleochemical decided to resume production to build up inventory of fatty acids, the source said.
