HOUSTON (ICIS)--DuPont is restarting its Orange cracker in Texas after taking the unit off line for a brief turnaround, the company said in a public filing available on Thursday.

Emissions associated with the procedure were expected to last until 12 May, the company said in the filing with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ).

The 680,000 tonne/year unit was taken off line on 21 April, according to a separate filing.

A DuPont spokesperson did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
