LONDON (ICIS)--An initial Europe paraxylene (PX) contract settlement for May was agreed at €1,210/tonne ($1,592/tonne), down €15/tonne from April, the seller involved said on Friday.
According to the seller, the lower Asian settlement this month meant that there was some downward pressure in ?xml:namespace>
The settlement was agreed on a free delivered (FD) northwest Europe (NWE) basis.
