LONDON (ICIS)--Novapet is planning maintenance shutdowns at two of its polyethylene terephthalate (PET) units in Barbastro, Spain, a company source said on Friday.
"In all cases these maintenances will not affect in any way our contract and usual deliveries to regular customers," the source said.
Novapet has planned a week-long shutdown on 27 May at its 100,000 tonne/year PET plant number two.
A 45-day maintenance shutdown is also planned for September at plant number 3, which has capacity to produce 130,000 tonnes/year.
Its 30,000 tonne/year specialty grade PET line in Barbastro has been off line since mid-March and is scheduled to restart on 4-5 May.
