US May MX contract falls 34 cents/gal on weak demand

MIAMI, Florida (ICIS)--The May mixed xylene (MX) contract concluded at $3.90/gal, down by 34 cents/gal from the April price of $4.24/gal, following weak demand, industry sources said on Friday.
Meanwhile, MX spot prices were heard at $3.99-4.01/gal FOB (free on board), lower compared with $4.25-4.34/gal on 5 April.
