SINGAPORE (ICIS)--The Argentinean government has begun an anti-dumping probe on polyethylene terephthalate (PET) chips from China, South Korea, Taiwan, India and Thailand, the China Commerce Ministry said in a statement on Monday.
The anti-dumping probe was launched on 25 April, the ministry said.
The statement did not state how long the probe would last.
The largest use of PET is for synthetic fibres, followed by bottle resin. PET is also made into film for use in electrical appliances and packaging.
