Canada NOVA to take down Alberta cracker in June

HOUSTON (ICIS)--Canada's NOVA Chemicals will take down its Joffre E1 ethylene cracker in Alberta, Canada, for a turnaround in June, the company said on Tuesday in a conference call.

The turnaround is expected to last 40 days, according to Pace Makowitz, spokesman for NOVA.

The E1 cracker has a capacity of about 726,000 tonnes/year.
