NOON SNAPSHOT – Europe Markets Summary

LONDON (ICIS)--Here is Wednesday’s midday European oil and chemical market summary from ICIS.

CRUDE: June WTI: $96.42/bbl, down 59 cents/bbl. June BRENT: $112.04/bbl, down 69 cents/bbl
Crude oil futures were trading in negative territory, pressured by mounting political uncertainty in Greece.

NAPHTHA: $912-920/tonne, up $7/tonne
The cargo range climbed, driven by higher crude oil prices. June swaps were assessed at $913-915/tonne.

BENZENE: $1,240-1,260/tonne, down $5/tonne
May opened slightly weaker on continued macroeconomic uncertainty and overnight losses on crude. June was backwardated at $1,230-1,250/tonne.

STYRENE: $1,475-1,500/tonne, down $10-20/tonne
May was lower following deals late on Tuesday at $1,485/tonne and $1,490/tonne and ongoing upstream bearishness.
