China’s Jingbo Petrochemical to start propylene sales on 11 May

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Jingbo Petrochemical plans to start propylene sales from its new deep catalytic cracker (DCC) unit at Binzhou in Shandong province from 11 May, a company source said on Wednesday.

The DCC unit, which can process 2m tonnes/year fuel oil, was first started in early May.

The company also has a fluid catalytic cracker (FCC) unit that can process 1.2m tonne/year fuel oil at the same site.

Jingbo Petrochemical’s daily propylene sales can increase to 300 tonnes/day from 100 tonne/day before the new unit started production, the source added.
