LONDON (ICIS)--OMV reported flaring at its refining and petrochemicals hub in Burghausen near Munich, Germany, after a power supply disruption on Thursday evening.

The Austria-based energy and petrochemicals company said the disruption - at around 16:30 hours Burghausen time - forced a system failure at the site.

OMV did not disclose which units or capacities were affected by the outage.

According to ICIS, OMV’s petrochemicals production capacities at Burghausen include 450,000 tonnes/year of ethylene, 560,000 tonnes/year of propylene and 160,000 tonnes/year of benzene.
