LONDON (ICIS)--Jean-Dominique Senard on Friday took over leadership at France-based international tyre major Michelin, the company said.
Senard succeeds Michel Rollier as the group’s chairman. The move is part of Michelin’s succession plan, it said.
Senard joined Michelin in 2005 as chief financial officer. Last year, he was elected managing general partner of the company.
Prior to Michelin, Senard held executive positions at a number of French industrial firms, including Total, Saint-Gobain and Pechiney.
