HOUSTON (ICIS)--US refiner Valero has completed the turnaround of a fluid catalytic cracking unit at its 170,000 bbl/day McKee refinery in Sunray, Texas, a company spokesman said on Friday.
“The turnaround is over and the unit has begun the restart process,” said Valero spokesman Bill Day.
Valero filed a report with state regulators on Friday in anticipation of possible emissions during the restart of the unit following the completion of the turnaround.
The turnaround began in early April.
