LONDON (ICIS)--OMV has begun to restart the facilities at its refining and petrochemicals hub in Burghausen near ?xml:namespace>
OMV said there would flaring at the site in the following days as workers bring the plants back to normal operations following the power disruption on Thursday evening.
The company did not disclose which units or capacities were affected by the outage.
According to ICIS, OMV’s petrochemicals production capacities at Burghausen include 450,000 tonnes/year of ethylene, 560,000 tonnes/year of propylene and 160,000 tonnes/year of benzene.
