Brazil exports $105m in crude oil, polymers to Peru in Jan-April

CAMPINAS, Brazil (ICIS)--Brazil exported $105m in crude oil and polymers to Peru during the first four months of the year, a government ministry said on Monday.

Crude oil exports reached $61m, up from $42m for the same time last year, according to the Ministry of Development, Industry and Trade.

Exports of polymers of ethylene, propylene and styrene reached $44m in January through April, up from $32m for the same time last your, the ministry said.

Crude oil imports from Peru reached $32m, up from $22m, it said.

Brazil did not import significant amounts of naphtha from Peru in 2011, but in 2012 imports reached $26m.
