China’s Jiangxi Sunlit builds 50,000 cbm bitumen tank in Jiangxi

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Jiangxi Sunlit Bitumen has started building a 50,000 cubic metres (cbm) bitumen tank farm in Jiujiang city of Jiangxi province earlier this month, a company source said on Tuesday.

The company plans to build a 30,000 cbm of fuel oil and 200,000 cbm of lubricant oil tank farms as well, the source said.

Total investment for the project is forecast at around yuan (CNY) 200m ($32m) and the tank farms are expected to be completed by the end of the year, the source added.

Jiangxi Sunlit Bitumen will have a total bitumen storage capacity of 85,000 cbm once the tank farms are commissioned, market sources said.
