HOUSTON (ICIS)--US ethanol inventories came down for the second consecutive week, while production increased from the previous week, according to data released by the Energy Information Administration (EIA) on Wednesday.
Ethanol inventories for the week that ended on 11 May were at 20.6m bbl, down by 800,000 bbl or 3.7% from 21.4m bbl a week earlier.
Ethanol production was at 904,000 bbl/day, up by 7,000 bbl/day or 0.8% from 897,000 bbl/day the previous week.
