SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea’s Honam Petrochemical is currently running its 1m tonne/year naphtha cracker in Daesan at full capacity after restarting the plant as scheduled on 11 May, a company source said on Friday.
The producer had taken the cracker off line on 4 May for repairs due to mechanical problems at the plant’s cooling unit.
