KUALA LUMPUR (ICIS)--Aromatics Malaysia Sdn Berhad (AMSB) is eyeing an end-May restart for its aromatics plant at Kertih in Terengganu following a scheduled 18-20 day maintenance, a source familiar with the matter said on Friday.
The plant, which can produce 550,000 tonnes of paraxylene (PX) and 200,000 tonnes of benzene, was shut in early-May.
No exports are expected for May as a result of the turnaround, the source added.
