China’s Cangzhou Dahua achieves on-spec production at TDI unit

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s key toluene di-isocyanate (TDI) producer, Cangzhou Dahua Group, announced over the weekend that it achieved on-spec production at its 70,000 tonne/year TDI unit at Cangzhou in Hebei province on 16 May.

The unit is the first phase of the producer’s 100,000 tonne/year TDI project, it said in a statement to the Shanghai Stock Exchange.

The company initially planned to bring the unit on stream in July. Further details on the project were not immediately available.

Cangzhou Dahua Group is a manufacturer of ammonia, urea, TDI and caustic soda in Hebei province in China.
