SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Taiwan will host the 35th Asia Petrochemical Industry Conference (APIC) in Taipei next year, a source at the Malaysian Petrochemical Association (MPA) said on Monday.
APIC comprises industry associations from Japan, Malaysia, Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, South Korea and India.
The exact dates of APIC 2013 in Taiwan could not be immediately confirmed.
Malaysia hosted APIC 2012 in Kuala Lumpur on 17-18 May this year, attracting about 1,399 delegates, according to a source at MPA.
APIC 2011 at the coastal city of Fukuoka in Japan last year drew more than 1,400 delegates.
