HOUSTON (ICIS)--US oxo-alcohol prices rolled over from April to May with few transactions seen in the market, according to ICIS pricing on Monday.

The price of n-butanol for May was assessed at a rollover from April at 106-111 cents/lb ($2,337-2,447/tonne, €1,823-1,908/tonne) DEL (delivered).

Isobutanol was assessed at a rollover at 127-129 cents/lb DEL.

The price for 2-ethylhexanol (2-EH) for May was assessed at 135-137 cents/lb DEL, down 4 cents/lb from April because of late-month adjustments to April prices by several producers.

US oxo-alcohol producers include BASF, Eastman Chemical, LyondellBasell and Oxea.
