SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea’s Kumho Petrochemical (KKPC) has further cut the operating rate of its 350,000 tonne/year butadiene rubber (BR) plant at Yeosu to 60% of capacity because of poor market conditions, a company source said on Wednesday.

Its 350,000 tonne/year BR plant was running at a reduced rate of 70% since early May, the source added. KKPC is Asia’s larges synthetic rubber producer.
