SINGAPORE (ICIS)--ExxonMobil has nominated its June paraxylene (PX) Asian Contract Price (ACP) at $1,530/tonne (€1,224/tonne), sources familiar with the matter said on Thursday.

The nominated price represents a $20/tonne fall from the May PX ACP settlement of $1,550/tonne CFR (cost and freight) Asia.

Rival producers, JX Nippon Oil & Energy, S-Oil and Idemitsu Kosan had earlier nominated their June PX ACP at $1,550/tonne CFR Asia, $1,550/tonne CFR Asia and $1,500/tonne CFR Asia, respectively.

The June PX ACP will be settled on 31 May.
