SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Iran’s Sepahan Oil has extended the turnaround at its 400,000 tonne/year base oils plant in Isfahan province by 40-45 days because of poor demand, market sources said on Thursday.

Sepahan Oil shut the plant in the first week of May for maintenance works and was expected to restart the unit in the first week of June, they said.

The company can produce Group I SN500, engine oils, industrial lubricants, automobile gear oils, greases and anti-freeze, paraffin, heavy slack wax and rubber processing oil at the Isfahan plant.
