SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China's Zhejiang Cenway New Synthetic Materials will shut its 50,000 tonne/year isobutylene-isoprene copolymers (IIR) plant in Zhejiang on 20 June for about 40 days of maintenance, industry sources said on Monday.

However, the actual shutdown date has not been confirmed by the company, a market source said.

The news of the shutdown helped to support IIR players’ sentiment that domestic IIR supply is ample.

Zhejiang Cenway is a major IIR producer in China.
