Kuwait Petroleum in planned autumn base oils stoppage

LONDON (ICIS)--Kuwait Petroleum will be undertaking a planned stoppage at its base oils facility in the Netherlands during the autumn, a company source said on Tuesday.

The 235,000 tonne/year unit, situated in Rotterdam, is expected to be down for around four weeks while technical work is carried out.

Exact dates are yet to be set.

The company said it will build stocks ahead of the stoppage.
