Thailand’s Ekarat Pattana offers Jul-Sep anhydrous ethanol

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Thai ethanol distiller Ekarat Pattana Co (EPC) has offered via tender a total of 12,000 cubic metres (cbm) of anhydrous ethanol for July-September, a company source said on Wednesday.

EPC is offering three cargoes of 4,000cbm each to be shipped in the first week of July, August and September, respectively, the source added.

The cargoes are likely to be headed to the Philippines, according to the source.

“There is no firm closing date for the tender, but we hope to conclude this by the end of next week,” the source said.

The prices of anhydrous ethanol were assessed at $650-680/cbm (€520-544/cbm) FOB (free on board) SE (southeast) Asia during the week ended 23 May.
