China’s LDK Solar signs multi-year photovoltaic project agreements

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s LDK Solar has signed three multi-year engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) project development agreements, all located in China’s Gansu province, the photovoltaic (PV) producer said on Monday.

“The first project in Jiuquan City will consist of 200 megawatts (MW) annually, the second project in Jayuguan City will consist of 200 MW over three years and the third project in Zhangye City will consist of 200 MW over two years,” the company said in a statement.

The contracts were signed in view of continual demand for PV project development services in China, the company said.

Further details about the projects were not immediately available.

LDK Solar deals with polysilicon, mono and multicrystalline ingots, wafers, cells, power projects and solutions.
