SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Taiwan’s Formosa Plastics Corp (FPC) will restart its 450,000 tonne/year polypropylene (PP) plant at Ningbo in China’s Zhejiang province on 10 June, traders said on Tuesday.

The plant was shut down on 21 May for maintenance, sources said.

PP supply may increase in June after the FPC restarts its plant, a local distributor said.

Officials from FPC were not immediately available to comment on the restart.
