Honeywell, China's Ruichang plan sulphur recovery unit, FCC

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--US-based Honeywell and China’s Ruichang Petro-chemical Equipment plan to build a sulphur recovery facility and fluid catalytic cracker (FCC) joint venture at Luoyang in Henan province, a source from the Chinese company said on Tuesday.

Both companies signed at the end of May an agreement to build the facilities, the source added.

Construction work will be completed in September and commercial operation is scheduled to start at the end of this year, said the source.

Details on the cost and capacities of the joint venture were not immediately available.

Ruichang Petro-Chemical Equipment is located at Luoyang in Henan province, central China.
