Czech chemical output edges up by 0.1% year on year in April

LONDON (ICIS)--Czech chemical and chemical products output experienced near-flat year on year growth in April, edging up just 0.1% from the same month 12 months ago, the Czech Statistical Office (CZSO) said on Wednesday.

Overall, April industrial production in the Czech Republic increased 2.2% year on year, while the seasonally adjusted figure was 0.1% up on March of this year, it added.

Production of rubber and rubber products, as well as textile production, was entirely flat, manufacturing of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers rose 1.6% and furniture production edged down 0.1%, on a year on year comparison, the CZSO added.
