SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Qatar International Petroleum Marketing (Tasweeq) has agreed to sell full-range naphtha and plant condensate for loading from July 2012 to June 2013, traders said on Thursday.
The cargoes, which will be loaded from Ras Laffan, were sold at premiums of $25-26/tonne (€20-21/tonne) to Middle East quotes FOB (free on board), the traders added.
The traders said 30,000-50,000 tonnes of full-range naphtha and plant condensate each will be loaded monthly.
For GTL naphtha, which will be loaded monthly, 25,000-30,000 tonnes were sold at a premium of $35/tonne to ?xml:namespace>
Earlier in May, Tasweeq opened one-year term contracts for full-range naphtha, plant condensate and gas-to-liquid (GTL) naphtha.
“Plant condensate used to command a premium over full-range naphtha. The soft ethylene prices have weighed on buying interest for plant condensate and consequently the premiums for these two grades have fallen to the same level,” a Singapore-based trader said.
