SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Sinopec Mitsubishi Chemical Polycarbonate (Beijing) Co Ltd restarted its 150,000 tonne/year bisphenol A (BPA) unit at Yanshan in Beijing on 5 June, a company source said on Friday.

The plant was shut down for maintenance on 22 May and is now operating at 50% capacity, the source added.

The company will soon supply BPA to its contract customers and its downstream polycarbonate (PC) plants, sources close to the company said.
