HOUSTON (ICIS)--Refiner CITGO has completed the turnaround at its 167,000 bbl/day Lemont refinery in Illinois, a company official said on Wednesday.
The company official declined to comment on which units were brought on line.
A trader in the Chicago market in Illinois said the Chicago gasoline premiums over gasoline futures traded on the NYMEX was falling on Wednesday because of increased supply following the refinery’s restart. With so few refineries in the region, midwest gasoline trading can be affected greatly by just one outage or restart.
The Lemont refinery had shut down units at the end of April for planned maintenance.
