Taiwan's Formosa Petrochemical restarts No 3 cracker in Mailiao

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--
The producer is expected to achieve on-spec output at the cracker, which has a 1.2m tonne/year ethylene capacity, by 16 June, the source added.
The plant, which is the biggest of FPCC’s three crackers in Mailiao, was taken off line on 31 May because of poor demand.
FPCC’s No 2 cracker has a 1.03m tonne/year ethylene capacity, while its No 1 unit has a 700,000 tonne/year ethylene capacity.
