SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Sichuan Lomon Corp is planning to start up its new 500,000 tonne/year monoammonium phosphate (MAP) unit at Deyang in Sichuan province in August this year, a company source said on Monday.

The company’s total capacity of MAP will increase to 800,000 tonnes/year once the new unit comes on stream, making it the largest MAP fertilizer producer in Sichuan province, the source said.

The company also has a 300,000 tonne/year MAP unit at the same site which was started up in March this year, the source added.
