SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Jiangsu LvAn Qingfeng New Material will start up its 200,000 tonne/year polystyrene (PS) plant at Changshu in Jiangsu province on 20 July, a company source said on Tuesday.

The plant, which has two 100,000 tonne/year general purpose PS (GPPS) lines, was originally scheduled to start up on 20 June, but this was delayed because of a technical issue, the source said.

Jiangsu Lvan Qingfeng New Material is a subsidiary of Shanghai Yunfeng Group Chemical Industry, which is also engaged in the styrene trading business.
