HOUSTON (ICIS)--Jacobs has won a contract from Chevron Phillips Chemical (CP Chem) for work on two planned polyethylene (PE) facilities in ?xml:namespace>
Jacobs's contract includes front-end engineering and design (FEED) services for the PE plants, it said. It did not comment on financial details or capacities.
CP Chem, which announced the PE projects in April, has said each of the plants will have a capacity of 500,000 tonnes/year, with start-up expected in 2017.
