HOUSTON (ICIS)--Brazilian petrochemicals maker Braskem has started production at a new butadiene (BD) plant at its Triunfo complex, the company said on Tuesday.
The facility in the southern state of Rio Grande do Sul has 100,000 tonnes/year of capacity.
Braskem has three other BD plants in Brazil with a combined capacity of around 420,000 tonnes/year.
